About adult education
The Skills for Education and
Employment (SEE) program (formerly known as the Language, Literacy and Numeracy
Program) provides language, literacy and numeracy training to eligible clients
aged 15-64. The program aims to improve the capabilities required to move on tofurther training and increase the chances of employment.
MTC Australia provides up to 800 hours of training, supported by funding provided by the Department of Industry. Training is over a period of 16-48 weeks. Our classes are tailored to individual needs via targeted training from our highly experienced and qualified teachers in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).

Eligibility
To be eligible to
take part in the SEE program, you must:
be aged between
15-64 (ie. of working age)
be registered as a
job seeker with Centrelink or a Job Services Australia provider
have no potential barriers
that could affect your ability to improve in language, literacy and numeracy
(such as homelessness, substance abuse, prolonged attendance difficulties or
unwillingness to learn).
